Tiger Woods Transgression Statement Transcript

Tiger Wood's wife, Elin Nordegren, fears Tiger Woods has been having affairs and dating other women. Her fears were not without basis and the woman, Jaimee Grubbs, has herself come out with around 300 text messages and voice messages from the greatest Golf player of the last two decades.

Jaimee Grubbs, a cocktail waitress that told Us Weekly that she had a 31-month affair with Tiger Wood and has 300 text messages from him to prove it.

She has said that she had sex with Tiger Woods on several occasions and that they were in relationship for around two and half years. TMZ and US Weekly besides Radaronline have followed the allegations and have come out with proofs to substantiate these allegations.

Tiger Woods has posted an apology to his web site. In his statement he says, "I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart." (Transgression: the act of transgressing; the violation of a law or a duty or moral principle.) Please see below for the full Tiger Woods' statement.

He also rejects rumors that his wife hit or scratched him before his car accident: "The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious." Over the past week rumors of multiple affairs have trickled out, including the release of racy text messages and a voicemail that seems to implicate Woods.

Tiger Woods has been linked to three girls: Rachel Uchitel (a 34-year-old NY brunette girl - who has a reputation for dating married celebrities), Jaimee Grubbs and Kalika Moquin (a Las Vegas marketing manager, is the latest woman to be connected to Tiger Woods).

Rachel Uchitel

rachel uchitelIn contrast to Ms. Grubbs, Rachel Uchitel has strenuously denied the allegations that she and the world's best golfer have hooked up. Still, that hasn't stopped the Searches. Lookups on "rachel uchitel" and "who is rachel uchitel" have both rocked the Search box, as curious searchers seem unwilling to take her at her word. Time magazine has an interesting article on Ms. Uchitel. The 34-year-old nightclub promoter is reportedly "aggressive" when it comes to meeting celebrities (her mom claims she once dated Derek Jeter and A-Rod). However, in an exclusive interview with the New York Post, Uchitel has denied the allegations of a romance with Woods, even going so far as to offer to take a lie detector test.

Last word: Denies affair.

Jaimee Grubbs

Jaimee GrubbsIn Tiger's boilerplate apology statement, he mentions "transgressions" that have let his family down. Though Tiger hasn't named names, Jaimee Grubbs has more than volunteered to explain her part in the troublesome situation. A Los Angeles cocktail waitress and former participant on the VH1 reality show "Tool Academy," Ms. Grubbs claims to have had a lengthy affair with Woods. Additionally, she has gone on record as saying she has pictures and hundreds of risqué text messages from the married golfer. Searches on "jaimee grubbs" and "jaimee grubbs photos" have both shot up from zip into the tens of thousands overnight.

Last word: Claims to have had affair.

Kalika Moquin

kalika moquinLastly (or not?), there's Kalika Moquin. A relative newcomer to the Tiger watch, Ms. Moquin was named in Life & Style magazine as having romantic links to Tiger. As soon as that possible connection hit the Web, searches on Moquin roared into breakout status. Though her connection to Tiger is still just a rumor, folks clearly want to know more about her. Life & Style explains that she works as a marketing manager at a Las Vegas nightclub. According to the magazine, when Moquin was asked about an alleged affair, she neither confirmed not denied it, saying, "It's not appropriate for me to comment one way or the other."

Last word: No comment.

Tiger Woods' apology on his website:

"I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.

Although I am a well-known person and have made my career as a professional athlete, I have been dismayed to realize the full extent of what tabloid scrutiny really means. For the last week, my family and I have been hounded to expose intimate details of our personal lives. The stories in particular that physical violence played any role in the car accident were utterly false and malicious. Elin has always done more to support our family and shown more grace than anyone could possibly expect.

But no matter how intense curiosity about public figures can be, there is an important and deep principle at stake which is the right to some simple, human measure of privacy. I realize there are some who don't share my view on that. But for me, the virtue of privacy is one that must be protected in matters that are intimate and within one's own family. Personal sins should not require press releases and problems within a family shouldn't have to mean public confessions.

Whatever regrets I have about letting my family down have been shared with and felt by us alone. I have given this a lot of reflection and thought and I believe that there is a point at which I must stick to that principle even though it's difficult.

I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves. For all of those who have supported me over the years, I offer my profound apology."
